200 soldiers monitor the security of the MetaSports Marathon Nha Trang race track
On the afternoon of August 11, the Organizing Committee of the MetaSports Marathon Nha Trang 2023 organized skill training for more than 1,100 volunteers of specialized teams such as water refueling, medical care, finish line, running track, running track security, cheering, ... at two locations, the Air Force Officer School and Nha Trang University.
Like other tournaments in the system, running security is the team with the largest number of about 200 members. In which, 150 soldiers from the Air Force Officer School (Khanh Hoa) participated for the first time to support the award. Their task is to handle the situation, coordinate with other teams, and ensure the safety of athletes on the entire track.
At the training session, specific tasks and skills were disseminated to the soldiers by Mr. Luu Danh Quang - the leader of the race's security team. "After hearing the BTC popularize how to work, I am very excited and ready to serve runners on the track. We are trained in the military in terms of health, the will is very confident when accepting this task." soldier Pham Duy Khanh, a student of Battalion 1 said.
In addition to 150 members of the running security team, 50 other soldiers from the Air Force Officer School will be on duty in the watering team. The provincial health sector plans to send highly specialized doctors, arranged at key points to support athletes.
The organizers also trained volunteers from the remaining groups at Nha Trang University. Volunteers are guided by the organizers on how to use the tools and what to do in the picture area in charge. Participants who relay athletes at MetaSports Marathon receive shirts and hats from the organizers. In addition, after completing the task, there will be an online certificate, recognizing the contribution during the tournament.
"Volunteers are an extremely important force, a great decision to the success of the tournament. The training is strictly and systematically implemented by the BTC MetaSports Marathon in order to minimize the situations arising in the field. running track, ensuring the safety of athletes," the organizer said.
Previously, Khanh Hoa province mobilized about 700 policemen to ensure security, order and traffic safety, arranged 6 guiding motorbikes and barricades at important traffic intersections on the day of the competition.
MetaSports Marathon Marvelous Nha Trang 2023 took place on August 13, attracting 11,000 athletes from all over to participate. The event is considered explosive by Khanh Hoa province in many aspects, especially the number of athletes participating has increased by one and a half times. Along with that is the number of tourists, runner relatives flocking in 3 days of the event (August 11-13), which is expected to reach tens of thousands of people.
