Aerobic Vietnam won the gold medal of the World Cup

Vietnamese athletes include Le Hoang Phong, Nguyen Che Thanh, Nguyen Viet Anh, Vuong Hoai An and Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi. In the final competition, the team ranked first with 19,844 points. The second place is the group of athletes from France with 19,167 points, and the third place is the group of athletes from the host Japan with 18,544 points.

In the three-person event, Vietnam won a silver medal. Hoang Gia Bao, Le Hoang Phong, Nguyen Che Thanh reached 19,600, 285 points behind the French gold medal. Hoang Phong and Thuy Vi also won second place in the mixed doubles event with 19,650 points, 600 points behind the two Japanese athletes.

The Vietnamese aerobics team also had two more bronze medals in the World Cup in Japan, belonging to Phan Thi Uyen Nhi in the young women's content with 18,650 points and Nguyen Che Thanh in the men's singles with 20,250 points.

The Vietnam aerobics team consisting of 19 members (one leader, two coaches, one expert, one referee, 14 athletes) participated in the 2023 World Aerobics Cup, held in Tokyo from April 20 to 24. At the end of this tournament, the team will return to prepare to compete at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.
