Arsenal leave Europa League after penalty shootout

England's striker Gabriel Martinelli's broken kick caused Arsenal to lose on penalties 4-5 to Sporting Lisbon, after drawing 1-1 in the second leg (3-3 on aggregate) in the 1/8 round of the Europa League.
