ATP Tour rankings after Wimbledon 2023: Alcaraz far ahead of Djokovic
Defeating Novak Djokovic in 5 sets, Carlos Alcaraz got himself the first Wimbledon title in his career and also the second Grand Slam championship of the 20-year-old tennis player. Besides, Tieu Nadal also successfully defended the No. 1 position on the ATP Tour rankings.
With the Wimbledon championship, Alcaraz received 2000 points, bringing his score from the beginning of 2023 to 9675. He has accumulated enough points to become the first player to participate in the ATP Finals 2023 to be held in Turin, Italy next November.
Djokovic ranked second with 8795 points. Following in the top 10 are Daniil Medvedev, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Holger Rune, Andrey Rublev, Jannik Sinner, Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe.
The top 10 ATP Tour rankings did not have any changes in position. In the group behind, Christopher Eubanks with the record of reaching the quarterfinals of Wimbledon rose to 31st place.
