Bayern are about to buy Vlahovic from Juventus

To win tickets to the Champions League next season, Juventus need to be in the top 4 of Serie A or win the Europa League. However, both possibilities are not easy to come true.

After being deducted 15 points for falsifying financial statements, Juventus is ranked eighth in Serie A with 32 points after 23 games, 13 points behind fourth-placed Lazio. In the Europa League, Juventus will have to compete with teams that are in high form and possess a much higher quality team like Man Utd or Arsenal.

Therefore, according to Corriere dello Sport, Vlahovic is considering leaving Juventus to join Bayern. The German team is a "patron" of the Champions League. They are aiming for their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title.

Juventus is also seriously considering the sale of Vlahovic. The "old lady" has not yet escaped the post-Covid-19 financial hardship. They could sell the 23-year-old star for $85 million.

Juventus bought Vlahovic from Fiorentina in January 2022. They had to pay Fiorentina $70 million plus $10 million in fees. In more than a year of playing, Vlahovic scored 19 goals in 43 matches for "Old Lady".

Bayern want to buy Vlahovic due to difficulties in Harry Kane case. The English striker currently has a contract until June 2024 and Tottenham are negotiating an extension.

Liverpool also want to buy Vlahovic. After more than half a crisis season, coach Jurgen Klopp determined that he needed to "change blood" for the team. However, Liverpool are also not sure if they have a place in the Champions League to convince Vlahovic. In the English Premier League, they are ranked seventh with 36 points after 23 games, nine points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
