Bayern missed victory in stoppage time even though Kane scored
Harry Kane opened the scoring but lost in stoppage time, causing Bayern to be held to a 2-2 draw by Leverkusen in the fourth round of the Bundesliga.
Bayern and Leverkusen are the only two teams to win the first three rounds. Therefore, the competition at Allianz Arena is decisive for the top spot. Thomas Tuchel's team got off to a dream start when they took the lead in the seventh minute. From a corner kick, Leverkusen's defense let Kane loose and the striker comfortably headed a close-range header at the far post.
This is Kane's fourth goal after his first four matches with Bayern in the Bundesliga. The last player to do this was Miroslav Klose in 2007. This is also the English striker's 300th goal after 505 club appearances.
