Back to the A1 HCM City Billiards & Snooker Tournament 2023 taking place from February 22-28, Hua Phong Hao revealed: "I've been playing billiards since 2008, starting with pool. Later after seeing snooker interesting, I switched to playing billiards since 2008, starting with pool game. I just played snooker for fun and entertainment. The time I started playing snooker was in 2009, but it's still mainly entertainment, when I have free time, I play, not compete.
Initially coming to snooker was invited by friends to play. Gradually watching snooker myself, it is also good because it is similar to basketball, with merit and defense, so I like this sport more. Participating in this A1 tournament is also because friends invited to play. It was my first time playing, so I didn't set any achievements."
It is known that the Billiards & Snooker A1 HCM City 2023 is the largest in history with nearly 600 athletes, of which the pool is about 150 athletes, the carom is nearly 400, Englinsh and Snooker are 20 athletes. It is expected that at 3pm on February 27, there will be two finals for pool 9 women's balls and pool 10 men's balls. After that, prizes will be awarded for 1-band carom, pool, snooker, English. Carom 3 tapes must end on February 28.
