Boston Celtics show muscle strength, lead to Warriors 2-1 at NBA Finals 2022

After two teams split the number of winning teams last two rounds, NBA Finals 2022 has moved back to the TD Garden. The full advantage of the courtyard, the Celtics replied back to Game Two by winning a full-scale Game.

Without "racing" with the opponent at 3 points, Boston dominated the basket area under the leadership of Robert Williams III and showed its advantage against the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown, Jason Tatum and Marcus Smart combined with 77 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 116-100 aggregate victory and a 2-1 lead in the 2022 NBA Finals series.

Stephen Curry scored 31 points (6-11 3, 2 steals) and played hard before leaving with an injury at the end of the fourth quarter. It is unclear whether Curry will be able to play in the next Saturday morning game.

Klay Thompson resurrected and had 25 points and three assists, with five successful 3-pointers (5-13 3PT). Andrew Wiggins was the remaining Braves standout with 18 points, seven rebounds and two steals.

Defensive leader Draymond Green scored 2 points, 4 rebounds and was sent off for 6 personal fouls. He left after 35 minutes.

"I played badly and I had nothing to say," Green replied to reporters about his performance.

Before the third game, Celtic coach Udoka said that the players need to be more enthusiastic and intelligent than their opponents in the second game.

Unsurprisingly, Boston overwhelmed the Braves with an all-out defensive performance (33-22 at halftime) from the start of the first half this morning.

Robert Williams III led the Celtics in a controversial and collision-free game, leading Golden State with a 16-3 rebounding advantage in the first eight minutes. Williams alone had more rebounds than the Warriors in the first half.

In scoring, Jay Brown burst 17 points in 12 minutes, and despite any defensive players in front of him, including Wiggins or Draymond Green, his scores reached 6-9 fg and 3-4 3pt.

At the Braves, they missed eight of the game's first 10 3-pointers due to Boston players' long arm difficulties.

Golden State panted defensively and couldn't stop opponents from scoring when Clay Thompson and Stephen Curry started to get hotter.

The Boston Celtics had a 17-point advantage in the second half to prepare for the "third quarter of the world" that the Warriors often showed.
