Gabriel Jesus, Vinicus, Casemiro, Marquinhos, Alisson ... are all named in the list of 26 Brazilian players for the 2022 World Cup announced by coach Tite on November 7.

Contrary to rumors spread earlier, Gabriel Martinelli is still on the final list of Brazil. This season, the 21-year-old striker shines with five goals and two assists in 13 matches, helping Arsenal to lead the Premier League.

Similarly, striker Gabriel Jesus was also called up, after being absent from the last gathering in September. Arsenal's duo will match Neymar, Vinicius, Raphinha or Lucas Paqueta to create a highly appreciated attack of Brazil. .

Another name surprising on the Brazilian attack is Richarlison. The 25-year-old Tottenham striker is present despite being out of action for the past several weeks due to a calf injury, while Roberto Firmino has been left out. This season, the 31-year-old striker has performed quite well, scoring eight and assisting four goals in Liverpool's 19 matches in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Magalhaes - Jesus and Martinelli's teammate at Arsenal - was not called up. This central defender started all 13 matches, contributing to Arsenal having the most solid defense in the Premier League when only conceding 11 goals, equal to Newcastle. He also just scored the only goal to help Arsenal win 1-0 at Chelsea to reclaim the top from Man City.

However, Tite did not give Gabriel a chance, but put his faith in four central defenders Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, Eder Militao and Gleison Bremer. In addition, the 61-year-old coach surprised when he entered the name of Dani Alves - a 39-year-old defender who plays for Mexican club UNAM Pumas and may have a fourth World Cup.

Up to 12 players playing in the Premier League were called up. They include Martinelli, Jesus (Arsenal), Richarlison (Tottenham), Antony, Casemiro, Fred (Man Utd), Alisson Becker, Fabinho (Liverpool), Lucas Paqueta (West Ham), Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle), Ederson (Man City) and Thiago Silva (Chelsea).

Brazil is in high form when drawing one and winning all of the last 7 matches from the beginning of the year. They hold the record of winning the World Cup five times, but haven't won since 2002, with a generation of legends like Lucio, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo or Rivaldo.

At the 2022 World Cup, Brazil is in Group G, playing against Serbia on November 25, Switzerland on November 28 and Cameroon on December 3.

According to the house Oddschecker, Brazil has the highest chance of winning with the odds of 11/2 (put 2 to 11). Following is England 6/1, France 7/1, Spain 9/1, Argentina 10/1, Germany and Belgium with 12/1 and Portugal 14/1.
