England: Being held to a 0-0 draw by host Bournemouth in round 5 on September 17, Chelsea and Man Utd continued to stand in the bottom half of the Premier League scoreboard.

Injuries to nearly a squad caused Chelsea to face many difficulties at Vitality Stadium, when Mauricio Pochettino's team lacked luck to bring home three points. Strikers Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling both hit the post and bar at times, causing the home team to miss the opportunity to rise to the top half of the scoreboard. They and Man Utd continue to be the two English football giants still standing in the second half.

In terms of the number of opportunities, the two teams were equal with the home team finishing 13 times, only one less than the opponent. Bournemouth's best chance came in the 18th minute when 21-year-old striker Dango Ouattara suddenly faced the goalkeeper but shot straight at Robert Sanchez.

In this match, $ 75 million midfielder Mykhaylo Mudryk started for the first time under Pochettino, and he performed not poorly with a hit with Jackson along the middle. However, the 22-year-old striker's shot bounced off the post when goalkeeper Neto gave up.

Chelsea also put the ball into the net early in the second half, when defender Levi Colwill kicked in an offside position after Sterling's free kick hit the crossbar. If he had shot a little lower, the 29-year-old striker could have scored a masterpiece. But Chelsea couldn't do anything more when they didn't win in four of the first five rounds.

British newspaper Guardian said that the match was open, but the professional quality was not high. "Anyway, this is a match between the teams ranked 14th and 15th in the Premier League," author Tim de Lisle commented.

Chelsea continued their poor away record, winning only two of the last 16 matches. After the match, when defender Ben Chilwell went to the away team's audience area to pay tribute, he was whistled and booed. In response, the English defender raised his hands to express his intention to apologize after a bad performance.

In the next match, Chelsea returns home to Stamford Bridge to meet unpleasant opponent Aston Villa in round six on September 24.
