Coach Ten Hag is frustrated by Man Utd's play

"It's not us," Ten Hag said after the game at Allegiant Stadium (Nevada City). "We should have controlled and kept the ball responsibly, even if we lost 2-3. That's not allowed and unforgivable, even in friendly matches."

Man Utd also have friendly matches with Lens on August 5 and Bilbao on August 6. On August 14, the "Red Devils" kicked off the 2023-2024 Premier League with a match against Wolves.

This summer, Man Utd only signed midfielder Mason Mount, defender Jonny Evans and goalkeeper Andre Onana. According to British media, the "Red Devils" have reached an agreement to buy 19-year-old striker Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. In the opposite direction, they parted with goalkeeper David De Gea, full-back Alex Telles and winger Anthony Elanga.

Ten Hag won the title, the 2022-2023 English League Cup, in his first season leading Man Utd. He also succeeded in bringing the team back to the Top 4 of the Premier League and to the final of the FA Cup. Before that, Man Utd's last title was the Europa League 2016-2017.
