Yesterday, Pau FC confirmed to part ways with Quang Hai a year early, due to failure to meet professional requirements. The Vietnamese midfielder became a free agent from June 30 without having to compensate the contract for the French team. According to coach Troussier, this is understandable because Ligue 2 requires faster and stronger. In the case of Pau FC and Quang Hai, Troussier took the example of Quang Hai's parents who came to visit but were only allowed to stay for a short time, because they were not allowed to get a longer visa. The 67-year-old coach believes the club should have supported this issue to help improve player morale.
Finally, he concluded: "Vietnamese players go to Asia like Thailand, Korea, Japan ... is more suitable".
