Djokovic defeats Alcaraz in Cincinnati Masters final
After nearly four hours of competition, Novak Djokovic defeated Carlos Alcaraz 5-7, 7-6(7), 7-6(4) on August 20 to win the Cincinnati Masters for the third time.
The best final in Cincinnati Masters history saw both players have to save the championship-point. No set is less than an hour, of which the last two sets require a tie-break. There, Djokovic was more brave, winning decisive points to overcome the world's number one opponent.
