DP World Tour failed to ban three golfers from the Invitational Series
Sports Resolutions is an international sports arbitration institution headquartered in Britain. The agency has appointed Judge HHJ Sycamore to handle complaints about DP World Tour's disciplinary decision. After the first working session, Mr. Sycamore disabled the document while waiting for the supplementary document and the lawsuit to be completely dealt with.
DP World Tour's written response quoted CEO Keith Paley as saying: "Despite our disappointment, we still complied with the original ruling. But remember, this is a suspension of discipline in a non-arbitral process."
As a result, Poulter, Oteji and Harding qualify for the Scottish Open in the DP WorldTour Rolex Series group, when the competition roster reached a maximum of 156 players.
In the first round on July 7th, Harding scored five birds, and no bogey stood in T3 (score-5), four strokes away from top-ranked PGA Tour member Cameron Tringley. Meanwhile, Otaegui is at T56 (+1) and Poulter is at T155 (+10), two steps from the bottom of the table.
The Scottish Open has also been included in the PGA Tour schedule to strengthen the strategic alliance between the first-class golf courses in the United States and Europe.
Both sides banned members from participating in the LIV Golf Invitational Tournament-a group of direct tournaments funded by Saudi Arabia, known for helping the country fill its bad reputation for human rights and gender equality.
The opening ceremony was held in London on June 9th. Soon after, the PGA Tour hung up the sticks of 17 members indefinitely. On June 24, the DP WorldTour announced a $105,000 fine and banned three co-sponsored matches with the PGA Tour in July, starting with the Scottish Open on July 7-10. Discipline applies to 16 players, including Poulter, Oteigi and Harding. Poulter also held the PGA Tour card before participating in the Invitational Series.
But the deserters call it an unfair, unlucky decision and the possibility of legal dispute. "We ask Mr. Pelley and the board to destroy the disciplinary transcript by the end of the 5h-7-7-7-7-and the other means to correct your wrongs by-and the Telegraph to send this group.
On the same day, CEO Paley responded through the website DP World Tour. He said: "Before going back to Liv Golf, you knew the consequences of putting money in the game. And, you agreed to the game rules of the DP WorldTour, and now you are breaking the rules, so of course you will be fined. Proper form and level. Most members support this."
The Invitational series currently brings together at least 24 members from the PGA Tour, with around 10 young players either from the Asian Tour and the rest from the DP World Tour. Considering the world professional men's golf list, they recruited 22 players to enter the top 100.
The opening season features eight games, five of which are in the United States, including the big final at Miami's National Dora Stadium, owned by former President Trump.
Each competition consists of three rounds of non-elimination, dividing 48 players into 12 teams on average, promising all cash rewards, and finally receiving $120,000 individually. Funding for each event is $25 million, of which $20 million goes to individual baseball games and the rest goes to the top three in team events. In particular, the final game-the big final-spent $30 million on the top three individuals throughout the schedule and $50 million on the team segment.
The individual champion in London was won by South African golfer Charl Schwartzel. He received a total of $4.75 million, of which $4 million was personal.
Phase two in Portland, Oregon ends on the morning of July 3 (Hanoi time). Brandon Grace, who won the individual title with-13 points, also received $4 million like compatriot Schwarzel, adding another $375,000 when Team GB split $1.5 million to finish second. The "4 Aces" group topped the list, including former world No 1 Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed Pat Perez and Taro Gucci, with $750,000 each.
