Established Hanoi Karate Federation

According to the establishment decision approved by the Hanoi People's Committee, the Federation is a voluntary socio-professional organization, with the purpose of organizing training, propagating, mobilizing and guiding the masses to participate in exercise. Karate martial arts sport.

The representative of the campaign board was Master Doan Dinh Long, former head coach of Vietnam Karate team, former head coach of Hanoi Karate team and the People's Public Security team.

Mr. Long is a martial arts master of the 7th dan, one of the pioneers, making a great contribution to making Karate a strong sport in Vietnam. During his 10 years leading the national team, Karate has achieved many international achievements. His students have many people with high achievements in the arena, such as Nguyen Anh Tuan, Tran Van Thong, Pham Hong Tham, Ha Kieu Trang (SEA Games gold medal), Pham Hong Ha (ASIAD silver medal)...

With the establishment of the Federation, Mr. Long hoped that the Karate discipline of the Capital would develop even more strongly, contributing to the development and overall achievement of Vietnam's Karatedo in the international arena.

The first meeting then proceeded to elect the Executive Committee and the Supervisory Board. Master Doan Dinh Long was elected as the first President of the Hanoi Karate Federation.
