Many of my colleagues, unfortunately, found out that Sebastian Vettel left the F1 track this season.

"It's sad when you leave. But I am also excited when you turn to the new chapter of life," said the Haas Mick Schumacher, legendary son Michael Schumacher, shared on Twitter.

According to Mick, the German senior is the inspiration and one of the richest people who influence his career. "I was anxious to wait for our last races," the legendary son Schumacher continued.

On July 28, Vettel announced he would retire at the end of the current season via Instagram. This news came as a surprise to many, although there were previous rumours about the 35-year-old driver's future after his contract with the Aston Martin team expired later this year. The news of Vettel retiring became the focus of F1 ahead of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. Aston Martin immediately held a press conference for Vettel at the paddock site.

"Sebastian. Being called you an opponent is a pleasure for me and even more honored to see him as a friend. Leaving this sport in a more satisfied way when coming to it is always our goal . I firmly believe what happens to him will always be excited, meaningful and for sweet fruit. Love you, Seb ", Mercedes Lewis Hamilton said.

Vettel is only inferior to Hamilton, Schumacher (7 times) and Juan Manuel Fangio (5 times) on the number of F1 titles. German riders have been in a world championship four times from 2010 to 2013 in the Red Bull shirt. But the silence in Vettel's career came for six years of playing for Ferrari from 2015 to 2020. He aims to catch up with Schumacher idol but have no more titles.

"It is an honor to share many memories with him in F1. We wait to enjoy the last races he at Paddock. Good luck to him in the next challenges of life." , Ferrari announced.

President of the World Racing Federation (FIA) Mohammed Ben Sulayem also grateful to Vettel's contribution: "I want to honor Sebastian Vettel after a successful career with four F1 championships and 53 victories. Thank Sebastian Because of what he has contributed to this sport. Wish you the best in the future. "

Vettel said he wanted to rest to make up for his family. The 35 -year -old racer married Hanna Prater in 2019 and had three children. Due to busy competition, Vettel did not have much time and energy to raise children and he felt that it was time to put aside his passion for F1 to be a good father.

"Congratulations to Seb for having a illustrious career. I am very happy to race with you. Please make the last races become memorable," said the F1 2021 Max Verstappen. Another racer Esteban Ocon commented: "You are forever the legend of F1. We will miss you very much. Thank Seb".

The former F1 Romain Grosjean racer shared F1's post and wrote: "The illustrious career of one of the best riders I have ever confronted. And Seb is also one of the most kind people you can meet. F1 F1 Will miss you so much. " Meanwhile, the elder Fernando Alonso left the possibility of replacing Vettel at Aston Martin.
