At the 3M Open, the American golfer from Samoa - Tonga was five strokes behind the top of the table when he entered the final round but finished first with a score of -18, receiving $1.35 million.
In the last Rocket Mortgage Classic, Finau stood T1 (point -21) after three laps. In the final game, he hit a 67-putt birdie on the 17th hole, holding the par-18th hole to set a -26 winning mark. After winning his fourth cup, Finau racked up $1,512 million, thereby hitting $31 million in PGA Tour prize money.
After the tournament, the 32-year-old went home to Scottsdale, Arizona, where hundreds of people celebrated the airport, via a video posted by his wife Alayna on TikTok on August 1.
This season alone, Finau has earned $5.53 million through 22 PGA Tour events.
Finau has been fighting professionally since 2007. It wasn't until 2014 that he took his card full-time on the PGA Tour. In this arena, Finau has so far competed in 213 tournaments with four different cups.
Upon the first name of Puerto Rico Open 2016, Finau meets "The Coco Beach" Curse. At that time, the prize's been eight years but no one's ever won a PGA Tour or a pro. However, Finau has interpreted the term "bad title" in the second name of Northern Trust last month 8/2021.
