The 35-year FPT Virtual Run - Happy Footprints will take place on five continents, expected to attract 135,000 participants, starting on March 3.

Runners in Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Germany, Slovakia, USA,... will have a competition lasting for 6 months, on the online sports platform V-Race. The tournament is held in 10 countries, a total of 135 regions around the globe. These are the places where FPT Corporation's officers and employees are present.

This activity responds to a series of events to celebrate the 35th anniversary of FPT Corporation and the 13th anniversary of FPT for the community. The organizers will start recording the results from today and last until September 2. The tournament opens a free registration portal on the online sports platform V-Race, encouraging all participants to participate.

Not only running for fitness, participants can also contribute to the community. For each runner who completes one kilometer, FPT will contribute 1,000 VND to the Hope Fund to build school facilities for children in the highlands. The organizers set a goal that when completed, the tournament will accumulate at least 3.5 million km, equivalent to 3.5 billion VND. Contributing resources will be used to build the works of the "School Light" program of the Hope Fund - HOPE.

"FPT 35 years - Happy Footprints" takes place in 6 months with 3 stages. The money raised in the first leg (from 3/3 to 2/5) will be used to build a new school. The second stage (from May 3 to July 2) is the journey to build a semi-boarding house. The money of the last leg (from 3/7 to 2/9) will be used to build toilets.

"Through the run, we want to spread kindness, FPT pride, good health, togetherness and the mission of creating happiness to bring more good things to the community." organizers said.

Race results are calculated in the form of cumulative achievements. Athletes can run an unlimited number of times, depending on their ability and desire to conquer their own limits. However, to be recognized as an achievement, a runner needs to run at an average speed of 3 minutes/km to 12 minutes/km (pace 3:00 to 12:00).

The organizers only accept running results recorded from the Strava app linked to player accounts and do not accept results when using a treadmill. The more kilometers the athlete accumulates, the higher the chance of receiving a reward.

Through regular practice, participants will build awareness and discipline to practice sports. In particular, when registering for the prize, runners will be able to participate in side events such as the "Happy Footprints" photo contest, a slogan creation contest (add 3 dots or hint, there are more side prizes and more prizes). together to set records.Interested readers can register to participate here.
