From the little boy in West Ham to the Knights Templar.

On the Payers Tribune page, former Mr Jermain Defoe facilities back in the middle of the 22 career.

I remember everything, really.

Many players will forget, the memory will fade. I'm not. You can show me a picture of me in my career, and I'll show you what day it's taken, how the table wins that day, and how weather goes. All the information you need.

I know I'm lucky to appreciate everything that comes to me. I know the whole family died a lot so I could have today, so that's the memories I can't forget. It's like a dream that I'm retired now and I just pressed "pause" to look back at everything.

It's all from Harry Redknapp's call.

Harry's amazing where he doesn't complicate the problem. It's an absolute advantage to lead the young players. That's why West Ham has the very top young talent. The team is always looking for the best young men in England. Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard. A lot of others.

The day of the contract with West Ham, the first man I met when I walked into Chadwell Heath with my parents, who do you think? Ian Wright. He was waiting for me. You all know he's my idol, even since you can't play football. And that's the first face I've ever seen. Oh, my God. I picked the right team.

When I first walked into the cafeteria, I heard Rio Ferdinand called my name. Then it was Harry. He said, "This is Jermain, we bought him from Charlton, he's just a 16-year-old, but he's gonna write us a whole bunch of tables, isn't he?

We kick the game and we keep picking up quality players. It's Trevor Sinclair, Les Ferdinand, David James, Fredi Kanoute, Michael, Joey... and specifically: Paolo Di Canio. That's the best I've ever kicked. A genius.

I started that season so good for Tottenham and even though it's a little late at the end of the season, no one could say I don't have many tables. Sven can say that I can't do what he wants but it's not true.

When I received a call called a backup plan for the World Cup, I told myself, who went to the World Cup for me? Benty, I guess. Darrent Bent wrote a lot of tables that time, I texted him, "Were you called?" "I don't." I'll pass a message to Shaun Wright-Phillips: "Do you have a call?" "I don't." I thought, who was it?

When the list was published, we knew Sven called a young 17 never kicked the Premier League. I'm not against Theo, but instead, I'm glad for the boy and family to have fun. But for me, it was hard.

Sven sent me an invitation to go with the team, not fight, but still enjoy the World Cup. I feel like I'm doing a great job, even better in the dark. I make a lot of headway, make an impression on the interns, but I can't compete. I think any player in that situation is a little confused.

But I don't want revenge. If I see Sven, I'll shake his hand. Maybe, I'll ask him back in the day, what was he thinking?

After the black four years ago, I knew I was going to World Cup 2010 right from March. I met a slight strait and received a call from Gary Lewin, the team's physical expert. He told me, "From now on, don't do anything stupid, you're part of Capello's plan."

I always liked Capello. I know a lot of things talk about him but Fabio is really good to me. In the exercises, when I ran, he said, "Good, good, good.

It was the World Cup who was disappointed after the German meeting. Back then, if the VAR were different. But for me, it's still a special moment. After I didn't kick much in the first two games, I went to the courtyard before Slovenia, the game the team needed to win.

I remember my thinking when it was time.

Two minutes, ball to James Milner at the border and I thought, "I need the corner." It's the mix I've been working on with Ian Wright and Di Canio when I was young. I've already scored at the World Cup.

But as soon as he walked into the dressing room, he ran straight to me and jumped on my lap, hugged me with a nice smile. After that meeting, I'm getting word from the boy's family, I'll come and meet you at the hospital.

For the first time, I went with other players, but then, I went alone. I want to spend a lot of time with the kid. We have a natural bond. I don't know how to explain it. I'm used to the fact that the boy shows up in Sunderland, and it feels really hard when he's dead.

The boy taught me to love this life and the people around me. The boy changed me completely. That was a funny guy. After every game, the boy stopped with me in front of the camera to take pictures, as a ritual. I asked his mother, Gemma, "Did you teach him that?" She said, "No." "Why would he like to do that?" "I don't know." And we're laughing together. It's Bradley.

I don't believe in my ears. A knight in shining armor? For a boy from East London?

It feels different than winning trophies, winning tables or kicking for the British. More than football. This is a reward for personality, effort, family, what you represent and what you've done for the community.

When I met Prince Charles in Buckingham Palace, I remember how he asked, "How are the rocks these days?" I said, "It's all right, I'm on vacation for the medal."

The Rangers desire the number of 55 to end the Celtic domination, the players. Step into the first gym, I don't have anything to practice. I think I have to buy my membership card to get my gym. All teams are there and everyone wants to upgrade.

Thank God we did it. You can't leave this team without putting your name on victories. I used to go back to Glasgow. But what was confusing for me in the football team and this city was when the young men Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey, Glen Kamara started calling me by "uncle."

It's a way to express respect and love, but it also makes me feel that my career has gone off the cycle. From a young player, brewing a lot of dreams, making mistakes, going to an adult player and then, one day, you grow old. They call you "uncle."

I hope at the Rangers, I've done what Harry, Wrighty, Becks and Paolo can do at West Ham. Someone who helps you learn and becomes your model, who helps you focus on football and overcome mistakes. In the courtyard, she used to say to me, "You're more than football."

I hope, I did good on behalf of my family and my community. I hope I've helped a lot of people.
