NBA All-Star 2023 will take place in two days, but most likely this match will be without one of the two captains, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

In the Milwaukee Bucks match against the Chicago Bulls this morning (February 17), Giannis Antetokounmpo had to leave the field early and could not return to play because of a wrist injury.

NBA MVP in 2019 and 2020 got injured in a dangerous fall into the basket. The video shows that Giannis has his hand on the basket post after an attempt to block Coby White's goal on the Bulls side.

Immediately after falling, Antetokounmpo showed great pain and soon returned to the changing room. Minutes later, he was suspended for the entire game, leaving the field with 2 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks still won with a score of 112-100 against the Chicago Bulls, extending their unbeaten streak to 12 games. However, perhaps no Bucks fan is happy with this result, turning their attention to their No. 1 star.

Sharing after the game, head coach Mike Budenholzer quickly updated that X-ray results did not show bone damage, but Giannis was still quite sore:

“Fortunately, the bones were not damaged. We'll have to wait and see how Giannis feels tomorrow and for the next several days. The medical team will follow him closely and do further tests to determine the severity of the injury."

With the Milwaukee Bucks, they prepare to enter an 8-day All-Star break. Usually this is an opportunity for players to rest and precious time with injured players, but the case of Giannis Antetokounmpo is completely different.

"Demigod" is one of two captains who will attend the NBA All-Star 2023 match taking place in Utah next Monday Vietnam time. The day before that, Giannis also attended the competition with the Antetokounmpo brothers. NBA Skills Challenge.

Currently, the possibility of Giannis participating in the NBA All-Star 2023 series of events - taking place on February 18, 19, 20 according to Vietnam time - is still a big question mark.
