Haaland is sad because he can't play for the national team
Haaland discovered the injury while focusing on the Norwegian team on March 21. Preliminary examination revealed that the 22-year-old striker had groin muscle problems. Therefore, Haaland cannot play Norway against Spain on March 25 and Georgia on March 28.
"My child is very sad," Mr. Alf-Inge shared on TV2 Sport channel on March 24. "He wants to play for the national team. The injury took all of us by surprise."
Haaland may be injured from Man City's 6-0 win over Burnley on March 18. After being discovered, he had to leave the Norwegian training ground to go to the hospital affiliated with Man City located in Barcelona, Spain for a checkup. It is not clear how long it will take him to recover. "My son really wants to play two games against Spain and Georgia," added Alf-Inge. "It's very sad. But for now, it has to prioritize recovery."

Haaland is the player with the most goals for Man City from the beginning of the 2022-2023 season.
