The Manchester Evening News gave Erling Haaland 10 points, when he scored five goals in the match Man City beat Leipzig 7-0 in the second leg of the 1/8 Champions League round.

The Manchester Evening News explained about giving Haaland a 10: "Average scored a goal every 12 minutes, making a difficult game stupidly easy". The website Sofascore also scored Man City's timekeeper 10 points.

At the Etihad Stadium yesterday, Haaland touched the ball 30 times, completed 69% of the ball with a key, successfully completed twice and scored five goals from eight shots on target. The 22-year-old striker could have scored more, if not for Julian Alvarez from the 63rd minute.

Haaland opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute. 19 seconds after Leipzig returned the ball, he doubled the lead with a header from Kevin de Bruyne's crossbar. At half-time, the Norwegian striker completed his hat-trick, when he hit the back stone from Ruben Dias' header that hit the post. In the second half, Haaland scored two more goals from two other close-range kicks, with his left and right foot respectively.

The second highest scorer is De Bruyne with 9 points. The Belgian midfielder played the full 90 minutes, touched the ball 75 times, passed with 83% accuracy with four decisive passes, crossed twice, successfully dribbled twice and finished twice. He shot his left foot from outside the box to hit the bar to help Haaland score in the 24th minute. In the second minute of the match, De Bruyne cut his right foot from outside the penalty area to the top corner to seal a 7-0 victory, bringing Man City entered the quarterfinals with a total score of 8-1.

There are five Man City players rated 8, including Nathan Ake, Rodri, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish. The players who received 7 points were Manuel Akanji, Dias, John Stones and two substitutes Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez.

The Manchester Evening News gave Ederson the lowest score, with 5 points. The Brazilian goalkeeper only faced a shot on target from RB Leipzig and nearly made Man City conceded with a risky handling situation in the penalty area.
