Haaland, who is 21 years old, has a goal record that surpasses senior stars such as Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar.

Since playing for Brian in 2016 before travelling to Molde, Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund, Haaland has scored a total of 135 goals in 196 games before his 22nd birthday on July 21. The Norwegian striker has averaged 0.68 goals per game, the best performance of many other popular stars at the age of 21.

Romelu Lukaku is the only man to break through 100 goals before the age of 22, according to SBK. The Belgian striker has scored 102 goals in 259 games, averaging just 0.39 goals per game.

In terms of performance, Neymar lags behind Harland with an average of 0.5 goals per game, scoring 85 goals in 179 appearances. Followed by Lionel Messi (80 goals in 179 games, efficiency 0.47) and Sergio Aguero (93 goals in 235 games, efficiency 0.4).

Ronaldo ranked ninth in the list of SBK. The Portuguese striker only reached 0.23 goals per game, when he scored 55 goals in 233 matches, partly because he kicked his wings in the early years of his peak career. Many other popular strikers, including Robin Van Persie, Alan Shearer, Antoine Griezmann, Didier Drogba or Thierry Henry, all have a performance of less than 0.3 goals per game before turning 22 years old.

SBK said that if maintaining the desk performance as this time and the long future ahead, Haaland will easily crush the record of 260 goals of Shearer to become the greatest striker in the Premier League history. The former British striker scored 260 goals in 441 matches in the 1992-2006 period, with an efficiency of 0.59 goals, which is still far behind Haaland.

Behind Shearer is Wayne Rooney, with 208 goals through 491 period 2002-2018, with a efficiency of 0.42 goals per game. Before the age of 22, Rooney only scored 76 goals through 225 appearances, on average 0.33 goals per game.

"Similarly, if maintaining the current performance to the age of 30, Haaland can even target the incredible scoring records of the two great players of all times, Messi and Ronaldo," Talkshort commented.

Haaland made his City debut on June 13 after completing a $63 million contract. Haaland has thus become the most expensive striker in Manchester City's history. In 2011, the Etihad Stadium owner paid more than $40 million to recruit Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid. Haaland will gather with the new club from July and could make his debut in a friendly against Mexico's Club Americas in Houston, USA, on July 21.
