HGA reopens the big pair of golf team.
The event, called HCMC Open Golf Club Championship 2022, is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA), and aims to select teams to participate in the national championships in November. The men's top 4 and women's first and second teams will receive tickets for the competition hosted by VGA, while the top 3 men and women will receive medals awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Last year, HGA planned to host the Ho Chi Minh City Open Golf Club Championship for the first time at Johor Bahru Stadium in May, but it had to be shelved due to COVID-19.
In this year's plan, the competition will be held from August 23 to 24, and the competition form will still be adopted without changing the points. The competition is expected to bring together 28 men's teams and 4 women's teams. Each men's team consists of eight members and the women's team consists of four members, with an average score of 0 to 24.9 handicap levels. The National Golf Referee Board will work in the competition to improve professional quality.
The organizer implemented synchronous entry time for the four-ball team hole battle on the first day and the singles match on the second day, and stipulated that each player should play two games at most. Every win is one point, and the draw is 0.5 points. The final result is based on the total score of each team in two days.
In Fourball, each team consists of two members who hit the ball separately. The best member score for each hole will be the team score. The pair who score better will win the hole and gain an advantage of 1UP. When the number of winning holes (up, front) is greater than the number of remaining holes, the game is over. The result of a single game is calculated in the same way.
