Ho Chi Minh City rejected the resignation of coach Tran Minh Chien

Minh Chien was born in 1974, once wore a Ho Chi Minh City Police and was a top scorer of the 1995 National Championship. After having to retire early because of injury, he worked for a young training at PVF. In 2018, he led Binh Duong, helping the team to win the national cup. In 2019, he brought the second -class Ba Ria Vung Tau ranked first and continuously present in the first group.
This is the first season of the Saigon team to use domestic coach since going to the V-League 2017. Previously, they used foreign coach, respectively Alain Fiard (France), Toshiya Miura (Japan), Chung Chung Hae-sooung (Korea) and Alexandre Polking (Germany-Brazil).
