Indonesia sought to leave the Southeast Asian Football Federation

The Indonesian Football Federation (PSSI) wants to withdraw from the AFF to join the East Asia Football Federation (EAFF) - where Japan or Korea.

President Mochamad Iriawan today confirmed to Indonesian media that PSSI contacted the Eaff leader to discuss this organization. "We will discuss carefully, and cannot decide immediately," Bolasport quoted Iriawan. "Maybe Eaff will be happy to receive Indonesia. But we will have to calculate the advantages and risks."

East Asia Football Federation (EAFF) has 10 members including China, Taiwan, Guam, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Korea, Macau, Mongolia and the Northiana Northern Islands. Eaff is holding the East Asia Championship in Japan, with four teams attending Japan, Korea, China and Hong Kong.
