Infantino to be re-elected FIFA President
According to FIFA's announcement on November 17, Infantino was the only person to apply for the presidency of FIFA 2023-2027 within the prescribed time limit.
Infantino is supported by many national football federations and associations. In the past one month. he actively campaigned, polished his name, thereby significantly consolidating his position.
In March 2023, when the FIFA conference is held in Rwanda, Infantino will officially begin his third term as head of the most powerful football organization in the world.

At the age of 52, Infantino has risen sharply from UEFA Secretary General to the most powerful position in world football. He was first appointed to the FIFA presidency in 2016, replacing Sepp Blatter - who was previously banned from football for six years due to corruption allegations.
In the 2016 election, Infantino defeated then-Asian Football Confederation President Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa. But he wouldn't have had a chance, had former UEFA president Michel Platini not been banned from football due to being embroiled in the same scandal as Blatter.
In 2019, Infantino was re-elected for the first time. From there, he directed preparations for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States, as the number of participating teams increased to 48.
