Japan crushes Spain in the 2023 Women's World Cup

New Zealand won Spain 4-0 thanks to a sharp counterattack on the afternoon of July 31, Japan won the top of Group C of the 2023 Women's World Cup.

In the second half, coach Jorge Vilda tried to make a substitution to create freshness, but the players still lacked elegance. In the 82nd minute, the substitute Mina Tanaka broke through from the right wing straight into the penalty area, cutting the left foot into the high corner to seal a 4-0 victory.

In the 1/8 round, Japan met the second place in Group A, Norway, and Spain met Switzerland.
