Speaking in an in-depth interview with Bleacher Report, Jayson Tatum recounted the whole process of his injury on the eve of the All-Star Game.

Jayson Tatum's attitude at Playoffs as well as NBA Finals 2022 has been relatively unstable. You've had a lot of promotional moments and an outburst, but it's not a very charming couple of fights or a lot of insensity.

Although the big Boston Celtics series of first finals after 12 (since five 2010), Tatum couldn't shine in the biggest arena. Then you take responsibility for yourself and promise to fight better.

But for all this time today, about two months after bitterness saw Golden State Warriors rise up the trophy, the new Boston Celtics star revealed that you've had a serious injury in your wrist from the two months.

Sharing in the deep interview with Bleacher Report, Jayson Tatum recounted the whole process he had injury just before the All-Star.

Later he relapsed injuries again at the playoffs. But because he did not want to sit outside, Tatum compressed the pain during the series of NBA Finals with a white hand because of the injection.

Below is the whole share of Jayson Tatum with BTV Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report:

“I remember on the Super Bowl night (taking place on February 14 according to Vietnam time), we fought at Atlanta Hawks. On the way home, I wore a clock on my hand and felt my wrist very heavy. Leave so and gradually it made me extremely uncomfortable. I talked to my personal coach, Nick, agreed that I would go to the doctor to better check its situation right before the All-Star vacation.

But the closer to the All-Star, the worse it is. I could not hold a plate or a glass at home. This made me extremely worried. When I practiced or competed, I had to wrap my hands tightly to fix it. I even had to go to sleep. Why am I worried? Because I hate the feeling of someone saying that I can't play.

Those who understand and play with me always know I never want to quit any match. Until now, I always want to play the full season, hate being replaced by people or have to sit out because of injury. Just like that, I deceived my mind to go out from my head and did not check or take anything.

Fast time coming before the playoffs, I had about 6-7 days off and Nick said that we needed to check. I responded, 'Okay, but the playoffs are here and I don't care what the result is. I will play playoffs'.

The results showed that I had a fracture in the wrist but there was no bucket. This means that the bone has a fracture but it does not leave the position.

Because the results were gained after 8 weeks from the first pain, the fracture was immediately bone. But I still have pain when I have a direct impact on it or every time I fall. So I played NBA with a broken wrist for 2 months.

And then the playoffs round came, I remember it was a ball in Game 3 to meet Milwaukee. I put the basket down but was fouled by Giannis from behind. I fell towards the audience and the painful feeling again, the pain was like the first time I broke.

I had a cortisone tip to be able to play continued and if anyone was near, it was clear that my hand was white. The drug acts and eliminates fat tissue, so my hands seem to discolor.

After each game, I had to wear a splint to fix my wrist. At the throwing training sessions, I also wore braces but immediately removed when I saw a camera there. By the time I came inside, I wore a splint again, even when I wanted to take a nap because I wanted to keep it fixed as long as possible.

Apart from the team member, no one knew that I was injured. And in my mind, the only thing I want is to play without caring about anything else. ”

These shares probably make many Boston Celtics fans cramped. Actually, Jayson Tatum has revealed a bit that his wrist has a problem. But then, Tatum did not go into detail and just called this a minor injury:

I've been dealing with it for about two months, nothing unusual, just when I fall, I'll be a little sore.

It's a shame to be at the NBA Finals first career, Jayson Tatum couldn't be the best position to compete.

In addition to the wrist, there's an ongoing injection, why the Celtics children are also involved in a series of major injuries in the East meets Miami Heat.

Tatum personally tells me your choice is out and you are fully responsible. You didn't blame the severity because of the trauma, instead of putting your mind back to being stronger in the 2022-23.
