Jimmy Butler "disappeared", Jayson Tatum and Boston Celtics shortened the series score to 3-2

"Don't let us win a game."

This is the message that many members of the Boston Celtics gave after Game 3 of the Eastern Finals, when the Miami Heat took a 3-0 lead.

Five days later is the present time, Jayson Tatum and his teammates have won 2 consecutive matches, including Game 4 at Heat's field and Game 5 at home this morning (May 26).

“Hey, they let us win two games in a row. Don't let us win another match," Jaylen Brown replied confidently in a quick post-match interview.

Taking advantage of the home field advantage and good spirit from Game 4, the Boston Celtics took the initiative in the first minutes of Game 5.

Less than 4 minutes had passed, the Celtics had a 14-0 run to rise. The two-digit difference was maintained by the Celtics until the break, taking advantage of the fact that the Miami Heat failed to make a mark in both attack and defence.

The third half also did not bring about any change in the distance between the two teams because the match fell into a tit-for-tat position. Each of Heat's points was responded to by the Boston collective, making them almost powerless to shorten the score.

Finally Miami "raised the white flag" when the 4th half was almost half, put the entire reserve team on the field and accepted the final result.Game 5 ended with a 110-97 victory for Boston.

Four different Boston players scored over 20 points including Jaylen Brown (21 points, 3 steals), Jayson Tatum (21 points, 11 assists, 8 rebounds), Marcus Smart (23 points, 5 steals, 4-6 3PT) and Derrick White (24 points, 6-8 3PT, 3 assists).

Particularly, Derrick White is a commendable name when he shined on the day he was nominated to the starting lineup, immediately threw 3 points and scored the best score of the whole team.

On the Miami Heat side, Jimmy Butler had the lowest scoring match in the entire series with only 14 PTS (5-10 FG, 0-2 3PT, 4-6 FT). He added 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals but was almost lost to the Celtics defense.

Duncan Robinson is Miami's most prominent name with 18 points, 9 assists and 4 rebounds despite coming on from the bench (7-10 FG, 2-3 3PT).

Thus, the Eastern final series will last at least 1 more match. The two teams will return to Florida together, marching to the Miami Heat's home ground to play Game 6 at 7:30 am on Sunday, May 28, Vietnam time.

Jimmy Butler and the Heat will need to take advantage of this opportunity if they don't want to face Game 7 at TD Garden next week.
