Germany Striker Harry Kane still appreciates Man Utd, even though he just won 4-3 with Bayern in their Champions League opening match.

"Man Utd is going through a difficult period due to injury," Kane said after the match at Allianz Arena on the evening of September 20. "They have a lot of talent. You must have seen that in the last five minutes. But overall, I'm not too worried about them. I'm more focused on myself."

In this match, Kane contributed a goal to increase the score to 3-1 from the 11m mark in the 53rd minute. Who Scored gave Kane a score of 8.4 and honored him as the Best Player of the match.

Earlier this summer, Man Utd asked to buy Kane. However, the 30-year-old striker does not want to play for Tottenham's opponent in the English Premier League. On August 11, he moved to Germany to play for Bayern, through a deal worth more than 120 million USD including performance-based bonuses.

Here, Kane started positively, scoring five goals in the first six matches. He and the team won four wins and one draw. The only loss was 0-3 against Leipzig in the German Super Cup, which took place when Kane had just arrived in Germany and came on as a substitute.

Kane admitted the pressure comes from the large transfer fee. However, he is excited about the opportunity and prospect of success at Bayern. "Any big price tag brings big expectations and you want to repay the club's trust," Kane added. "As a striker, I know I will have a chance. We are still getting to know each other. It's fun to play with them."

After the victory over Man Utd, Bayern leads Group A of the Champions League with three points. Copenhagen and Galatasaray, two teams holding each other with a score of 2-2, ranked middle of the table, while Man Utd ranked last. In the second round, Kane and his teammates are guests at Copenhagen's field, while Man Utd hosts Galatasaray.

Kane has never won a collective title, despite reaching the League Cup final twice, the Champions League final with Tottenham and the Euro 2021 final with England. However, the 30-year-old star is one of the top strikers in the world. Kane holds the record of scoring 280 goals for Tottenham and 59 goals for England.
