Launching the virtual race 'For a green future'

With the aim of spreading the spirit of sports, responding to the campaign "All people train their bodies to follow Uncle Ho's example", Agribank organized a virtual running race on the online platform Agribank Sports. At the same time, this is an activity towards the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Agribank and the 72nd anniversary of the establishment of the banking industry in Vietnam. The race is open to all subjects, especially employees and customers throughout the system.

The tournament opens the gate for free registration from 0:00 on February 15 to the end of 23:59 on February 25 and results are recorded within 21 days from February 26 to March 18. Runners who want to contribute to society can participate in the challenge themselves, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of a virtual race.

The results are calculated in the form of cumulative achievements. Each person must run at least 21km. Participants can divide into many runs with short and long distances depending on their ability and level of challenge. The winner is the person who runs the most kilometers. Achievements are only accepted when running outdoors, not for running on machines, indoors.

With this form, participants can flexibly arrange time and plan to complete the challenge. The organizers do not set requirements on average speed, recommending running from pace 12 or less. This is a suitable speed for many subjects, including those who are not physically fit, just starting to get used to running.

"For a green future" is an online race, runners can run anywhere, just install the Agribank Sports app, the software automatically connects with Strava to record the results. Participants can choose from many different routes, change the space, inspire practice and spread beautiful images everywhere.

All achievements of athletes participating in the race will be converted into expenses sponsored by Agribank for programs for the community and environmental protection. Each runner completes 1km, corresponding to contributing 10,000 VND to the program "For a green future".

Agribank is a unit with a strong running movement. The AgriRun running group is a familiar name in the Vietnamese running movement. Up to now, the community of running enthusiasts at Agribank has 100 people who have run full marathons. In addition to the purpose for the community, this is an opportunity for officials and employees of the whole system to connect and show their talents.
