Lewandowski is cold at Bayern training ground
Robert Lewandowski was a few minutes late and was the last to show up on the training ground on July 13. The forthcoming 34-year-old forward was also the last to start practice. "You didn't finish them normally, didn't actively scramble and didn't score," Bild said.
For most of his teammates, Lewandowski showed a cold attitude. The Polish striker has only spoken a lot to Leon Goretska, who is one of the few players who has publicly not sided with the club in the transfer scandal. Goretska had asked the club to provide Lewandowski with a "reasonable solution".
Lewandowski also did not talk separately with coach Julian Nagelsmann. When the coach directed the whole team, the striker scored the most for Bayern for the past eight years to express his indifferent attitude, stand outside the circle and look to another direction.
After about 20 minutes of training, Lewandowski boarded the car to go home. He was the last to arrive and the first to leave.
Lewandowski showed displeasure after Bayern shouted too high a price for Barca. Bayern are demanding $50 million, while the Spanish club are paying just $40 million.
This summer, Lewandowski once made a dream to join the Camp Nou. The Polish striker even asserted that his era at Bayern "ended". Lewandowski has only one year contract with Bayern. Without selling this summer, the German team will lose in June 2023.
In eight years of playing for Bayern, Lewandowski scored 344 goals in 375 matches. He and Bavarian giants won eight Bundesliga, three national cups, five German Super Cups, a Champions League, a European Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.
At the club level, Lewandowski is holding 540 goals in 745 matches. With the Polish team, he scored 76 goals in 132 matches.
