14 members of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to attend the Asian Championships have been finalized, including 2 changes in the position of assistant and libero.

Although the VTV Cup has not ended, the list of women's volleyball teams participating in the Asian Championship has been revealed. The 14 members of the Vietnamese team participating in the tournament in Thailand were almost unchanged from the original frame.

There were only 2 changes in the position of assistant and libero, Pham Thi Hien was the name chosen to replace Tra Giang, while Le Thi Thanh Lien returned to replace Kim Lien's position.

In Thanh Lien's case, she played for the team to attend the Asian Women's Club Championship and SEA Games, before giving up her position to Kim Lien to attend the AVC Challenge Cup and FIVB Challenger Cup. At the upcoming AVC Championship once again the coaching staff swapped Lien.

Thus, only the assistant position has the appearance of new face Pham Thi Hien, BTL Information's assistant performed quite well in the second stage of SEA V.League as well as the ongoing VTV. Overcoming strong candidate Le Thanh Thuy, Pham Thi Hien was selected with Nguyen Thi Trinh, Ly Thi Luyen and Bich Thuy to become 4 assistants of the team.

Basically, the Vietnamese team still retains the same framework that they played together throughout the tournaments in 2023, this is a safe choice for the coaching staff when the AVC Championship is a big tournament with very high competition.

After the VTV Cup closes, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will have a short rest before taking a flight to Nakhon Ratchasima to attend the Asian Championships, from August 30 to September 6.
