In the middle of the match, the WhoScored site posted a first-half shot, showing that Man City finished 13 times, while Real only once. "Is this a practice match?" one fan asked on Twitter. "It's a shame for Real." Another fan admitted: "This time Real can't go upstream."

In the first 15 minutes, Real only passed 13 times. Meanwhile, Man City passed 124 times. Without Thibaut Courtois, last season's Champions League winner might have had to pick up the ball early.

The Belgian goalkeeper saved two Erling Haaland headers from close range. One of them is the flying phase of people pushing the ball off the column narrowly. "Great save," many fans commented.

But Courtois could not save Real from a humiliating defeat. In the 23rd minute, he lost his hand before Bernardo Silva's shot into the near corner. In the 37th minute, the Portuguese midfielder once again shone with a header into the high corner.

Man City continued to play better after the break. In the 76th minute, Akanji's header touched Eder Militao and changed direction to raise the score to 3-0. When the second half had just compensated, Julian Alvarez shot to face Courtois to seal a 4-0 victory.

Former Man Utd midfielder Rio Ferdinand likens Real to rabbits looking at car headlights, like they don't understand the game at all. "This is a slam dunk," Ferdinand insisted. "Man City are at a master level. They dominated from the start and completely took away Real's game."

Ferdinand also noted that Real has a rich history and great players, but is no longer the same.

With a score of 4-0 in the semi-final second leg, Man City won the final 5-1. Coach Pep Guardiola's team will play the final against Inter on June 10, in Istanbul, Türkiye. Man City have never won the C1/Champions League Cup, while Inter have won three titles.

Man City also has a chance to win two other titles. On May 21, they will be crowned Premier League if they beat Chelsea at home. Man City are leading the league with 85 points from 35 games, four points ahead of Arsenal and playing one game less. On June 3, Man City met Man Utd in the FA Cup final.

Meanwhile, Real ends the 2022-2023 season with the King's Cup. They still attend the Champions League next season, due to being in the Top 4 La Liga. Last season, Real upstream won Man City 6-5 on aggregate in the semi-finals, and then defeated Liverpool 1-0 in the final, to win the 14th European championship.
