England beat Newcastle 2-0 in the final, Man Utd won the first title under Erik ten Hag, on the evening of February 26.

The competition at Wembley took place attractively with tit-for-tat from the two teams. Although underrated, Newcastle did not hesitate to play doubles and even dominated in the first 30 minutes thanks to a strong physical foundation. However, Man Utd showed no less competitive fighting spirit. In a tug of war, the "Red Devils" took advantage of a better opportunity to score two goals within five minutes.

Casemiro headed high from Luke Shaw's free-kick to break the deadlock. This is the fourth goal in the last 12 matches of the Brazilian midfielder. Along with five assists, Casemiro has shown that he is a valuable signing that not only strengthens his defense but also provides effective attack support. Not yet ecstatic with the opening goal, Man Utd fans have the opportunity to open the festival again. This time, it was Marcus Rashford's turn to make a difference with a shot from a tight angle, bringing the ball to Sven Botman's feet, leaving Loris Karius unable to react.

Although the goal was counted as an own goal by Botman, Rashford continued to show his charm to score this season. Before the match, there were concerns about the 25-year-old striker not being able to play due to an injury in the victory against Barca. But Rashford is still able to kick the main stone to share the fire with Wout Weghorst. The combination between the duo brought the goal to double the difference for Man Utd when Weghorst contributed greatly with the ball in front of the penalty area and then poked a slot with the momentum of Rashford's movement.

Newcastle were not dismayed after two goals conceded. They came up strong late in the first half with dangerous plays on the right, taking advantage of crosses from Kieran Trippier. The best chance "Shoot" created was a high bounce, headed by Dan Burn's close-range goal, and sent the ball narrowly wide of the post. Newcastle also needed Karius' talent to avoid conceding a third goal in stoppage time when Weghorst finished the stretch from outside the box.

The second half started with calculations from the two coaches. While Ten Hag withdrew from the field of Diogo Dalot, the player was shown a yellow card, Eddie Howe added striker Alexander Isak to the field. The intention of the Newcastle coach is to take advantage of Isak's speed and ability to disrupt, and available factors such as Allan Saint-Maximin, Miguel Almiron or Bruno Guimaraes. But despite the consecutive times of having to fend off, Man Utd still showed concentration and the ability to cover well between the lines.
