Increased demand to see Messi at BMO Stadium in the California city has seen the cheapest ticket available priced at $785, but with an 80% discount for the next match. The same thing happened during Inter Miami's trip to New York Red Bulls, when ticket prices doubled. These increased numbers also occurred in television broadcasting rights and shirt sales.

Inter Miami will face Los Angel FC in round 26 of Major League Soccer with the task of winning to escape the bottom group in the Eastern region and move closer to reaching the Play-offs round. In the latest match, they only drew 0-0 with Nashville, the first time the pink shirt team did not score since Messi was introduced.

After the match against Los Angel FC, Messi is expected to miss 2 matches with Inter Miami because he is with the Argentina team participating in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in South America. He can only return when welcoming Toronto at home on September 21.
