Messi's father: 'My son did not return to Barca'
Jorge denied negotiating with Barca President Joan Laporta when he returned to Barcelona, after the meeting did not come to an agreement with PSG. Barca have made no offers for Messi, and his father has no intention of negotiating with the Spanish club. "I don't think Messi will return to Barca," Jorge told Diario Sport.
Messi's contract with PSG is valid until the end of June 2023, and he has the option to extend it for another year or not. Because the contract is less than six months, Messi has the right to negotiate with any team. Jorge is the father and agent of the 36-year-old superstar, living in Barcelona.
