MLS All-Stars vs Arsenal commentary: Rookie disappointment
Just before the tour in the US, Arsenal promptly announced the record deal Rice from West Ham. Thus, coach Arteta has had the desired squad with 3 expensive rookies Timber, Rice and Havertz with a transfer price of up to 226.6 million euros.
But perhaps Arsenal fans will need to be more patient when expensive rookies will need more time to integrate. In fact, in the recent friendly match, rookie worth 70 million euros Havertz had a lackluster match and made Arsenal only get a 1-1 draw against Nurnberg.
Back to the friendly match tomorrow morning, the Gunners will have a difficult match against the MLS All-Stars and do not rule out the possibility that they will receive another unfavorable result.
Remember, the MLS All-Stars is a collection of bright, experienced stars playing in the MLS like Vela, Hernández, Carles Gil… and they are ready to bring a surprise 90 minutes to Arsenal.
- MLS All-Stars: Burki; Zimmerman, Tolkin, Miazga, Hollingshead; Puig, Almada, Carles Gil; Morris, Kamara, Benteke.
