Czech was seriously injured when he lost to Mate Sanikidze in the featherweight championship match, but boxer Losene Keita still had a memorable day when he successfully proposed to his girlfriend in the octagon.

Prior to the July 30 match, Keita had won all 11 matches, being the lightweight champion and interim featherweight champion. He decided to lose weight to compete for the official Sanikidze featherweight belt at Central Tennis Court Stvanic, Prague over the weekend.

But the ambition of the 25-year-old boxer quickly evaporated. Keita seemed to be seriously injured from the turret break early in the first half, but still managed to continue. Then, he grabbed the leg and pushed the opponent to the floor, but was unable to finish.

Finally, the Belgian boxer stood up, limped and signaled that he could not continue due to pain in his right leg. After a few seconds of exchange, the referee waved his hand to stop the game after only a minute, and Sanikidze also went to ask about the opponent.

Receiving the first failure in his career, Keita apologized to the audience and turned to propose to his girlfriend on live television. The 25-year-old boxer knelt down, pulled out a wedding ring from a team member and asked, "Will you marry me?". Amidst the passionate cheers of the fans, Keita's girlfriend accepted the marriage proposal.

After that, Keita emphasized that he would rematch Sanikidze as soon as he recovered from his injury. "The story isn't over yet, and I'm feeling great," he said. "Hopefully Sanikidze will give me a chance to rematch, because there is no bigger match in Oktagon after today. I think there must be a rematch, because Sanikidze is also not happy with the ending. I respect that. Sanikidze, but I don't think he beat me today."

A day later, Keita posted on Instagram footage of his broken leg. "I always go to the octagon to perform, but yesterday did not go as expected," the Belgian boxer wrote. "Unfortunately, the match was stopped because I broke my leg right after the first kick in the first minute. I believe that this is not the way Sanikidze wants to win, and we should rematch to settle things once and for all. reasonable manner".
