Qatar The Brazilian team's doctor denied Neymar broke up with the 2022 World Cup because of an injury, but it is unlikely that this player will play in the 1/8 round with South Korea.

Neymar suffered an ankle injury from Brazil's 2-0 win over Serbia on November 25. During the treatment of this wound, the PSG superstar also had a fever due to a sore throat.

With Neymar's physical condition, Brazil's doctor Rodrigo Lasmar is not confident in his ability to play against Korea in the 1/8 round. He said: "We have 72 hours to see what happens. There is still a possibility of Neymar playing. He has not trained with the ball and training on December 3 will determine his chances."

Before the match against Cameroon, coach Tite admitted the mistake of not realizing Neymar was in pain to withdraw him from the field sooner. After a few days of treatment, Neymar's ankle swelling was gone, but running with the ball was still difficult.

In the 70 minutes played against Serbia, Neymar was fouled 9 times by the opponent. At the 2014 and 2018 World Cups, Neymar was fouled a total of 44 times, an average of 21 minutes, he was fouled by an opponent, more than any other player.

Neymar sat in the stands cheering his teammates when Brazil lost to Cameroon. The defeat did not affect Brazil's top position in Group G, but made coach Tite more headache with the personnel situation. Defender Alex Telles cried as he left the field in the second half because of a pain in his right knee. Striker Gabriel Jesus also has pain in this area and will have to undergo tests. Brazil had previously suffered when Alex Sandro injured his hip in the match against Switzerland.

According to Dr. Lasmar, the person with the highest chance of returning when Brazil meets South Korea is Danilo, who also suffered an injury at this year's World Cup. Danilo has trained fully in the last training session and is likely to appear in the match on December 5.
