In the upcoming confrontation at ONE Fight Night 9, he will face young British boxer Jonathan Haggerty in his 7th defense of his bantamweight Muay Thai title.
After two defeats to Rodtang Jitmuangnon in 2019-2020, Haggerty returned with three wins at ONE to confirm his status as a top Muay fighter of the tournament. This was also Haggerty's first official match when he moved up to bantamweight.
The October 2022 showdown between Regian Eersel and Sinsamut Klinmee is considered one of the best matches of the year for the ONE Championship, with the defending champion from the Netherlands winning.
