Entering the Playoffs with fourth place and facing Saigon Heat in the semi-finals brought a huge challenge to the red and white army from the capital Hanoi. During this entire series, the Warriors had forgettable shooting form with only 3-45 3PT, a success rate of only 6%.

Combined with the lack of luck with John Fields' injury in Game 2, everything was beyond the reach of coach Chris Daleo and his team.

Thus, Thang Long Warriors ended the 2023 VBA season after 20 matches. They ranked 4th overall in the Regular Season with 11 wins, more than double the 2022 VBA season.
