Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani will submit a second offer and most likely get the nod of the Glazers.

The Qatari delegation visited Old Trafford last Thursday, March 16, to discuss with Man Utd owners. A day later, it was the turn of British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe to directly meet the leaders of Man Utd. These are the two most potential candidates in case Man Utd change hands.

According to a source of Sky Sports, the meeting between the Qatar delegation of Sheikh Jassim and the leadership of Man Utd achieved positive results. Therefore, the Qatari billionaire will send an offer to buy the Old Trafford team for the second time on Wednesday afternoon, March 22. Currently, Sheikh Jassim's consulting team prepares a new proposal before sending it out.

The Glazers believe Man Utd is worth at least $7.36 billion. This figure far exceeds the first offer - just $ 5.5 billion - of Sheikh Jassim. Initially, the billionaire Qatari did not want to spend too much money to buy the British club. But his view changed, after the visit to Old Trafford by the Qatar delegation.

Those representing Sheikh Jassim took the train to Manchester and were warmly welcomed. Negotiations went on for 10 hours, much longer than expected. Sheikh Jassim and his associates have come to Old Trafford as fans before. But the purpose of this visit is to find out what they can do with the investment in infrastructure, development of the youth academy and the club's women's team. In general, the Qatari side wants to better understand Man Utd before making a second offer to buy.

Sheikh Jassim thinks it is still too early for him to go directly to Old Trafford. Therefore, the Qatari billionaire sent a team of experts in many fields such as banking, finance, real estate and law. The Qatari billionaire is very serious about buying Man Utd and wants to quickly take over this club.

Elsewhere, Ratcliffe also wanted to send a second offer to Glazer's house after a visit to the club on March 17. The delegation of the company INEOS owned by Ratcliffe had a six-hour meeting with the leadership of Man Utd at Old Trafford and Carrington and then left at 4pm, London time. They did not comment and wanted to analyze the information received from Man Utd before making a second offer.

Despite being 70 years old, Ratcliffe still flew from Nice, France to Manchester to meet Man Utd leaders. He even took pictures outside Old Trafford, unlike Sheikh Jassim, who wanted to hide his face.
