Quang Ngai is about to organize a half marathon

The running race is held on a provincial scale, scheduled to open at Pham Van Dong Square, Quang Ngai City from the evening of May 6 and close on May 7. The time is in the dry, sunny season. Athletes will leave early to take advantage of the cool weather and avoid health effects.

Quang Ngai Marathon - BSR 2023 Cup has two groups of content: individual and unit competitions. Participants by unit are athletes from districts, towns, cities... in the province. Meanwhile, personal content is for all audiences, sports lovers across the country.

This is the first time the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has cooperated with FPT Online Joint Stock Company (FPT Online) and Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) to organize a large-scale sports event. The organizers expect the tournament to create a driving force for sports movements in the province, exercise habits, and health care of the people. In addition, the award also contributes to promoting the local tourism image to the large number of running-loving communities throughout the country.

Quang Ngai is a locality with a lot of tourism potential with its long coastline and majestic mountains. The province has Ly Son island and many beautiful seas such as Sa Huynh, My Khe, Ganh Yen, Ba Lang An, Chau Tan... and many famous mountains, grasslands, waterfalls and streams such as Ca Dam, Bui Hui, Waterfall. Trang, Suoi Chi... In the period 2016-2019, Quang Ngai attracted more than 3 million visitors, with an average growth rate of 15%. By 2020, Quang Ngai welcomes 453,000 visitors.

Quang Ngai province also has Dung Quat Oil Refinery, operated by BSR, which accounts for about a third of the domestic petroleum market today. The tournament took place right at the time of BSR's 15th anniversary. It is expected that more than 500 employees of the unit will participate in the distances.
