USAOn April 5, the Masters Organizing Committee launched the traditional "Par3 Contest", which recorded five aces in which Seamus Power got two consecutive hits.

Power is the "opener", when a hole is completed 8.

Then he recurred on the 9th hole.

After Power is Bubba Watson who has won 12 cups on the PGA Tour, including two Masters (2012, 2014).

Next is Scottie Scheffler who is number one in the world and is also the reigning Masters champion. Scheffler's shot is most impressive when the ball is holed up.

Then it was Tom Hoge's turn

According to the National Hole-In-One Registry (USA), the probability of scoring an ace for a professional golfer is at 1/3,000 shots, for an average amateur at 1/12,000. Meanwhile, the probability of reaching an ace pair in the same 18-hole standard round is up to 1/67,000,000.

The "Par3 Contest" is held as usual since 1960, on a cluster of nine par3 holes, at the northeast corner of the Augusta National Golf Club campus in Georgia. This activity comes a day before the main round, like a family golf festival, when wives, kids or friends make caddy for Masters players.

This year's competition, Tom Hoge finished first with a score of -6 while Watson and Kurt Kitayama ranked at T2 (-5), and Power - the owner of a double hole-in-one also scored -5 but voluntarily did not count achievements. 36-year-old Power, from Ireland, has won two cups on the PGA Tour.

In the past 63 years, no competitor has won both the "Par3 Contest" and the Masters in the same period. However, before this period, the sub-competition recorded 102 holes-in-ones, of which the 2019 period accounted for nine.

Since its inception in 1934, the Masters has only taken place on the par72 course of the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. This place exclusively owns the prize, opened in 1933.

Masters is currently at the top of the annual major quartet schedule, followed by the PGA Championship in May, the US Open in June and The Open in July.

In the prestigious group, Masters has the fewest competitors, stemming from the "guest-only" position. The remaining three events are all 156 players.

Masters will enter the 87th round with 88 golfers, including Tiger Woods, from 19:00 on April 6, Hanoi time.
