Real engulfed Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the Champions League

Rodrygo opened the scoring in the second leg with a simple cushion, then celebrated the goal in the style of Cristiano Ronaldo's swing dance. The second goal of the 22-year-old striker was even simpler when it was cleared by Federico Valverde. The final victory 4-0 helped Real Madrid knock out Chelsea for the second consecutive season in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Their opponent in the semi-finals is likely to be Man City - the team that led Bayern three goals after the first leg.

The two Brazilian stars continued to be the inspiration for Real's second goal at Stamford Bridge in the 80th minute. The Uruguayan midfielder pushed the ball down to face the goalkeeper and then passed it to Rodrygo to shoot from close range into an empty net. This is Rodrygo's 15th Champions League goal in 37 matches, surpassing the achievement of Brazilian legend Ronaldo.

Chelsea was eliminated, leaving England only Man City in the Champions League. The London team is in danger of not participating in the European Cup next season after being ranked 11th in the Premier League. And Real stands closer to the goal of defending the championship.
