Spain Rodrygo and his teammates jumped to celebrate, when coach Carlo Ancelotti informed them of a day off for a 4-0 victory over Barca in the second leg of the King's Cup semi-final.

The video was recorded in the Real changing room at the Nou Camp on the evening of April 5. After an exchange with the team, Ancelotti said: "Tomorrow is a day off!".

The announcement of the Italian coach made the Real players excited. They shouted and raised their fists in the air. Some people danced. Striker Rodrygo even jumped on teammate Antonio Rudiger.

Ancelotti then left, leaving the players dancing and shouting as if they had just won a championship. On the Reddit forum, someone commented that Real players' reactions were like children receiving notices of school leave.

Real lost 0-1 in the first leg at the Bernabeu. They also failed in the last three matches against Barca this season. Therefore, having to be a guest in the second leg of the semi-final last night is said to be many challenges for Ancelotti's teachers and students. However, thanks to the successful application of a strong defensive play, Real won 4-0.

Vinicius Junior opened the scoring in first-half injury time, bringing the match to an even position. At the beginning of the second half, Real scored two consecutive goals thanks to Karim Benzema. The match reversed when the advantage was in favor of the away team, and Barca could not turn the tide. They even let Benzema complete a hat-trick towards the end of the game.

This victory opens the door to a third title in the 2022-2023 season for Real. Before that, they won the European Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Real's opponent in the King's Cup final is Osasuna, who beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 after two semi-finals.

However, Real will have a hard time defending the La Liga title when the gap between them and Barca is already 12 points after 27 rounds. In the Champions League, as the defending champion, Real will face Chelsea in the quarter-finals in April.
