Saudi Arabia Cristiano Ronaldo got angry with the referee, in the match Al Nassr beat Abha 3-1 in the quarterfinals of the King's Cup of Saudi Arabia on March 14.

Score: Al Najei 1', Al Khaibari 21', Marran 49' - Abdulfattah 69'.

Ronaldo's yellow card came at the end of the first half. From the counter-attack, the Portuguese superstar passed the ball through the opponent's field. The referee blew the whistle at the end of the half, when Ronaldo was speeding. The 38-year-old striker waved his hand in protest, then picked up the ball and kicked it hard. The referee immediately issued a card to Ronaldo. Striker Al Nassr continued to complain after receiving a warning.

For the second game in a row, Ronaldo could not keep his composure. A few days ago, he also expressed anger, when Al Nassr lost to Al Ittihad 0-1 and lost the top of the Saudi Pro League table to a direct opponent.

Just like that match, Ronaldo did not score in the match against Abha. He missed direct free kicks outside the box, and headed off goal in the second half. When he was substituted in the 87th minute, Ronaldo was disappointed. The Portuguese superstar scored eight goals in February, but not yet in March.

Not scoring, but Ronaldo contributed prominently to Al Nassr's overall play in the quarter-finals of the King's Cup. He attracted many Abha defenders, creating space for his teammates. In the opposite direction, the internal soldiers of Al Nassr did not pass the ball well enough even though Ronaldo ran in a reasonable place.

Before the opponent ranked 12th in the domestic tournament, Al Nassr did not have much difficulty to win 3-1. The home side opened the scoring in the 12th second, thanks to Sami Al Najei's goal in the penalty area. Abha nearly equalized the next minute, but Gonzalez managed to clear the ball on the line to save Al Nassr.

Al Nassr's 2-0 goal was initiated by Ronaldo, when he dribbled the ball in the middle. Al Khaibari received a cross from the left border, finishing with one touch to double the lead for the home team. At the beginning of the second half, Abha's keeper chose the wrong spot to drop the cross, creating conditions for Marran to finish close to the wall to raise the score to 3-0. Abha regained a goal in the 69th minute, thanks to Abdulfattah's dash into the back stone.

Al Nassr's leisurely kick still preserved a 3-1 victory, winning tickets to the semi-finals of the King's Cup against Al Wehda. Ronaldo and his teammates will continue to face Abha, round 21 of the Saudi Pro League on March 18.
