Rooney: 'Kane is like a prisoner at Tottenham'
"Kane is the ideal player for Man Utd," Rooney told the Athletic newspaper on July 19. "But it looks like he's being held like a prisoner in Tottenham. It's very difficult for him to get out of there."

But he is not sure that the old team can buy the English star from Tottenham. "Now is probably the right time for Kane to leave," Rooney added.
